A return to 40’s glamour, with feminine lines and cinched waists. Go for ladylike skirts, slim belts and heels.

Hemlines drop below the knee for skirts and cropped trousers. Always team with a heel to avoid the Miss Marple look.

3: Luxe
Embellished dresses, sequin covered tunics and floor length evening dresses all go opulent this season.

4: Skirt Suits
Fitted jackets are teamed with flared skirts. Knee length styles work best.

5: Military
Once again, military style returns with pea coats, trench coats in Khaki, navy, red & gold. Buckles, button, braids and epaulettes are key details.

6: Hand Knits
Chunky knits with cable and Aran oversized scarves, jumper dresses, cardigan coasts and even socks.

7: Chic Coats
Coats add the final layer of elegance this season. The trench, the cape & The cocoon are all key shapes, belted shapes look super chic.

8: Leather
Soft and buttery leather is the key fabric for jackets, skirts and even dresses this season.

9: Quilting
The padded jacket throws off its urban roots and goes for glamour (whilst keeping you warm!).

10: Tight Fit
Sexy, super slim cut dresses are here to stay. Add cut outs and block colour for that 80’s edge.

Purple: Lilac through to violet and deep purple
Primary brights: red, neon yellow, fuchsia and cobalt are big news
Metallic: Shimmering bronze and anthracite team with gold and silver

Bags: oversized, textured, mock-croc, block colour
Belts: wide and corset like or skinny and feminine worn at the waist
